Volunteer

We run many projects throughout the year to benefit the education of our children and our school. From assemblies, free family nights, emergency kits, yearbooks and much more. It all happens because of the PTA!

Volunteering in School

If you plan to volunteer in school, such as helping your teacher in the classroom or chaperoning a field trip, Central Kitsap School District requires volunteer forms and a background check. Find out more about the process on the school website's Volunteer page.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering at your child's school can be life-altering for your child.

Why you ask? Because it sends a clear message to your child (and other students) that devoting your most precious commodityyourselfis important to you and their education. It shows them you support them and their teachers and lets them know that what they do matters to you.

It also supports teachers and staff who nurture your child every day throughout the school year. We need your helping hands and smiling faces on our campus to help lighten the load for our staff, giving them more time in the classroom.
